The end of the school year is quickly approaching, and at my house it has been non stop prom and grad preparations for a couple weeks. Grad is a truly special event, and what better way to express how proud you are of a graduate than with a hand made card.
As I was working on a card for my son, a local gift shop that sells my cards called looking specifically for grad cards. Shazam! into production mode I went and whipped off a handful more in various colours. I also decided to step this design up a notch and make a fancy-fold party invitation in the form of a pull-tab easel card. The card comes out of the envelope flat, but you pull the tab and it pops up into a standing easel card.
I will provide a FREE tutorial for the basic cards, and a paid tutorial for the more elaborate stand up cards in my tutorials section
because there are a number of specific measurements and instructions to follow - too many for this blog post.
You can of course use school colours to make these more personal, and the mortar board tassels don't have to be gold - that just happened to be what I had on hand. Make your's unique and special.
